Our Story
KidsKnection started in 1998 as an after school care service at Marina View School, born from a simple need — working parents in West Harbour needed a safe, reliable place for their children after the school bell rang.
As the community grew, so did we. Before school care and holiday programmes were added to meet the needs of local families. Today, KidsKnection cares for children aged 5 to 13, offering a warm, fun environment where kids can be kids — playing, resting, and enjoying themselves between school and home.
What hasn't changed is our commitment to what matters most: keeping children safe, happy, and cared for. Every staff member is police vetted. We're MSD accredited with regular reviews. And we're proud to be a trusted part of the Marina View School community for over 25 years.

Centre Manager
Our most experienced team member, Israt has recently stepped up to lead the centre as Manager. She brings years of hands-on childcare experience and a warm, reassuring presence that children and parents trust.

A long-standing member of the KidsKnection team, Angela brings a genuine love for working with children and a calm, steady hand to every session.

Safety First
Your child's safety is our priority
MSD Accredited
We hold Ministry of Social Development accreditation as an approved OSCAR childcare provider, subject to regular 6-monthly reviews.
Police Vetted Staff
Every member of our team has been police vetted. We only employ experienced supervisors who are passionate about child safety.
On-Site at School
Our centre is right at Marina View School. Children walk directly from their classrooms — no external transport, no unnecessary risk.
Supervised Ratios
We maintain an approximate 1:10 supervisor-to-child ratio, ensuring every child receives proper attention and care.
Our Space
A place kids love to be
Our centre is located next to the car park by the school hall at Marina View School. We have a dedicated indoor space fitted out with everything kids love — board games, toys, dolls, arts and craft supplies, and a TV area for movies and shows.
Outside, children have access to a huge playground with monkey bars, climbing equipment, and plenty of open space to run around. The seamless flow from our indoor centre to the outdoor grounds means kids can move freely between activities.
It's not fancy, and it's not meant to be. It's a warm, comfortable space where children can relax, play, and just be kids after a long day at school.
